Day 1 of this Blog -Sat 8 Dec

Trying this blog thing out.  Feel a little self important but meh. This will mostly be about my training, My head space, and for tracking of this stuff while i go through the recovery /Rebuilding from an ACL Reconstruction.
So that is knee. Mid Nov 2012. 

This past Wednesday was my follow up with my Ortho. Everything is on track and maybe a little ahead of schedule with regards to ROM. I did work extremely hard pre-surgery to make sure this was a success because failure with this whole thing is NOT an option. No stress, just the reality as i see it. The Meniscus repair does mean i will do a total of 6 weeks on crutches.

So Friday was my first trip to the gym (via the affectionately named "Loser Cruiser" aka City Transit)

Db Seated shoulder press: 
1set x 20reps x 20lbs
5 x 15 x 35 lbs

Db side laterals
5 x 12-15 x 20lbs

Tricep stuff 5x10reps;
Back work 5x15reps; 
Neck stuff 4x20reps.

Finished up with 8 min of passive bike for my knee and then my rehab exercises.(I will go through these as the days go by.)

Managing angry moments: (daily observations that annoy /piss me off)
-If the bar doesn't touch your chest it is not a bench press.
-If you cannot bench 135 lbs and you are a 20 yr old male, it is time to HTFU and start really lifting
-Putting 3 plates on the bar and sitting 8" doesn't constitute Squatting, Thighs parallel or lower for Frack's Sake.
